2017 Scholarship Recipients

In 2017, we held our first 5k For Gabe, and the event was a HUGE success. We were able to award two $500 scholarships for graduating seniors, fund one endowed scholarship (will pay out $500 forever!), as well as fund two additional scholarships for both 2018 and 2019 graduating seniors. We could not have done this without our sponsors and our awesome team of volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the event successful. We had coverage from WFAA channel 8 news before the race, a camera crew at the race and a news story after the race. We are expecting 2018 to be even bigger, so don't miss out on the opportunity to be part of something amazing!

For our 3rd annual event, we will be offering different sponsorship levels to allow our sponsors to be recognized for the different levels of giving. Remember, proceeds from this event will fund the Gabbriel Atao Memorial Endowed Scholarship, awarded annually through the Frisco Education Foundation. Below are the different levels of sponsorship for you to select from:
Bronze - $250: No limit on the number sold. For your sponsorship at this level, you will receive the following:
- Company name / logo placed on back of race t-shirt
- Company name / logo placed on sponsor page with link to your website
- Company name / logo placed on sponsor signage at race event
- 1 (one) race participant or t-shirt
Silver - $500: No limit on the number sold. In addition to all the other benefits of Bronze, you will also receive the following:
- Provide your company information for racers / participants to pick up at our "Sponsor Table"
- Announcement of your sponsorship before and after the race
- Up to a total of 2 (two) race participants or t-shirts
Gold - $1,000: Only 15 sponsors at this level will be sold! In addition to all the other benefits of Silver, you will also receive the following:
- Setup a "meet and greet" table for you to directly interact with race participants
- 2x3 vinyl sign with your logo placed along event entrance path (you get to keep the sign at the end of the race)
- Provide your company material / flyer to be included in racer packet
- "Thank You" plaque suitable for display in your office acknowledging your sponsorship and level
- Up to a total of 4 (four) race participants or t-shirts
Winners Circle - $5,000: Only 1 (one) sponsor at this level will be sold! In addition to all the other benefits of Gold, you will also receive the following:
- Company logo on front left shoulder of the race t-shirt
- 3x6 vinyl sign with your logo placed at start / finish line (you get to keep the sign at the end of the race)
- Ability to provide up to 2 minutes of spoken communication to be delivered to the race participants prior to awards ceremony
- Up to a total of 8 (eight) race participants or t-shirts
